This gorgeous mountain range is part of my community, and very dear to my heart. A few Winters ago, I took a photo of this mountain at sunset (just after snowfall). I felt inspired to paint it, and used it as a tutorial on my YouTube channel. Little did I know that just a few months later, this entire mountain range would be on fire! This tragic event became a story of both heroism and community togetherness as everyone in the area as well as out of state, pulled together to fight the fires, and help and serve those affected. The firefighters who fought this catastrophic fire were more than heroes! They risked their lives to save our community.
