My White Peony was a dream to paint! I feel as though I can smell it's gorgeous fragrance every time I look at it. I absolutely love gardening, and grew this particular flower in my very own garden, took the photo, and brought it to life as a painting; starting from just a basic pencil sketch, to careful color mixing/blending, and finally, thousands of paint strokes. The end result, my very own creation; ninety hours of work. I even did a time lapse video of the entire process. My hope is that my work will inspire you to take those amazing thoughts and visions within YOU, and bring them magically to life; little by little. Our lives and talents are gifts to share with everyone. 

Additional information: My White Peony was painted with oils on a 48" x 48" gallery wrapped linen canvas around a solid wood frame, (1 1/2" thick). It's ready to hang with a secure wire in place on the back side of the painting.

My White Peony was a dream to paint! I feel as though I can smell it's gorgeous fragrance every time I look at it.
